WHAT IS THERE TO DO IN THE ALPUJARRAS?

Question: What is there to do in The Alpujarras?
Answer: So much!
Just relax, then have a bread & cheese lunch with a game of bridge to follow!
Clearly, at Cortijo Santa Rosa you can swim, read, bird-watch, paint, write, play a game of bridge and take the dogs for a countryside walk - just turn right out of the gate. Of course, we do enjoy a delightful home in a wonderful setting - perfect for entertaining family & friends.
But there is also plenty of entertainment in the area much of which we have experienced and thoroughly recommend.
Leisure Activities
Easter - Semana Santa Processions of Mary & Jesus through the Streets of Orgiva & enormously noisy fireworks!
September - Feria de San Miguel - a 4 day fiesta with a full programme of events including a street lunch each day!
